Qualifications
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
Technical Writer II
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years' of professional level experience, or equivalent training and experience
Able to utilize independent judgment, creativity, initiative, and ability to apply knowledge and experience to resolve problems and compose technical correspondence and reports
Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment, and interact frequently and professionally with project team members, laboratory counterparts, and NNSA management
Must be able to effectively cope with conflicting deadlines, changing priorities, frequent interruptions, multiple tasks, and travel to Mercury and other forward locations when necessary
Must have advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook) as well as expertise with Visio and Adobe Illustrator
Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required.
