Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills

Knowledge of KDADS requirements, course content and computer literacy required. Required personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, flexibility, and effective communication skills.

Required experience

Must have a minimum of two years’ full time licensed nursing experience in a setting which demonstrates long-term geriatric nursing care. Must have experience in supervising nurse aides or adult education. HOC instructor number is required.

Required educational background
