Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the School of Social Work. This position is responsible for administrative duties and technology support for the School of Social Work DSW program. Duties associated with this position are operational items such as general office support (including, but not limited to, assisting the Business Office with aspects of adjunct contract processing, ordering supplies, assisting with DSW residency programs, scheduling, building support), technical assistance with student admissions and recruitment and computer support (including, but not limited to, website design, maintenance and content management, and assisting students with hardware and software support).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Supports of all administrative needs of the program-these duties include: ordering supplies for the office, answering questions about the DSW program as they come in, answering phones, and other general office support.
- Responsible for all aspects of support for the residency program.
- Communicates about the residencies to prospective and committed participants, ordering and receiving supplies, managing and disseminating course materials, including syllabi and reading materials, quizzes, and conducting post-residency surveys of the faculty.
- Provides regular maintenance and upgrades to the DSW program website.
- Manages classroom technology and provides support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Works with the School’s IT staff to ensure all technology and tools used in the DSW program is maintained and fits within the School’s broader IT plan, especially as relates to hardware.

- Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in computer science, education, communications or related field that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of website development, as well as strong organizational and administrative skills in support of a mid-size office.
- Must have an ability to work with a broad range of groups with respect to a number of different technologies and communicate these skills at a non-technical level.
- Also requires excellent communication and customer-support skills and ability to troubleshoot unplanned for problems as they emerge.
- Must be able to handle multiple, diverse tasks, and establish effective working relationships with internal and external constituencies.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Must be proficient in multiple environments, as the position will be required to work with both PCs and Macs.
- Ability to work with classroom hardware, such as smart screens, podium technology and others required.
- Physical demands are those typical of an office environment.
