Teacher Job Opening

Responsible for implementing the educational program for 3-5 year old children in a Head Start classroom. E.O.E.

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education. Applicants with a current preschool CDA or that are enrolled in a program that will lead to a CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education may be considered for Assistant Teacher openings
• 1 year experience teaching preschool children
• Computer literate
• Must pass background checks

Salary: $13.60 per hour – Bachelor degree; $13.15 per hour – Associate degree ; Preschool CDA – $10.73 per hour

Currently budgeted for 10 months per year: August through May

Working Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm when children are present at the center; 7:30am – 4:00pm when children are not present

Position Type: Full time, hourly
