EXPERIENCES FROM OUR TEACHERS:

“Often I ask my new students if they went to class every day at their home school and worked. This boy in the 10th grade told me this, ‘I used to hang-out in the bathroom at school all day, now I’m so excited to go to school, I really like it, I can actually read stuff. I can hardly wait to go to class.’ This student began below a Kindergarten level, a non-reader; he is now reading on a mid-3rd grade level, he is in his 3rd quarter of an Pre- Algebra course, with an A grade, he has also learned to write beautifully in cursive while being at Cinnamon Hills, and he is enjoying learning.”

“One summer, our English teacher had students reading and studying Romeo and Juliet in English class. Three students I had worked with extensively were in his class and finally they agreed to take their turn reading. One of the students really hammed it up, he read so well the other students actually cheered for him when he was finished reading. WOW! Talk about improvement.”
