Duties
The classroom teacher is responsible for the instruction and supervision of students. The teacher identifies the needs of students through continual assessment and writes instructional plans based upon individual student needs. The use of a variety of methods and materials to implement instruction is required. Exceptional reading instruction and language acquisition skills, and math pedagogy is also necessary.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a current and appropriate Oregon Teaching License. All candidates must have technology skills, collaboration and teaming skills, and be able to employ a variety of instructional strategies. Consideration may be given to candidates who have an ESOL endorsement, GLAD training or are fluent in Spanish.
Salary
Salary will be determined by the experience and degree level in accordance with the current salary schedule.
