The School of Communication, History and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) is seeking applications by qualified individuals to enter an adjunct teaching position for one on-line course in the Master’s of Arts (Communication) program of study. The specific course is Theories of Communication (Comm-5810). This course is a 16 week course and is all on-line

Education & Formal Training Doctorate degree (Specify field(s) of study below) Other Education & Formal Training

The candidate must have completed a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the field of communication studies. Applicants should submit a current vita, copies of transcripts, and 3 letters of recommendation. Additionally the successful candidate will be required to apply for and be accepted to the Graduate School. Computer Skills Word-Processing, Presentation, Class Management Software, Other - PowerPoint, Powtoons Experience

Preferred:

Teaching experience in higher education

Experience with Blackboard.
