The Site Coordinator’s responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Supervise teachers and other employees by ensuring program(s) are running to standard
- Ensuring administrative functions are current to include state licensing related materials
- Ensuring Springboard program(s) are running according to the approved curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- Meet with school administration to ensure program(s) are running efficiently
- Ensuring state ratios are adhered to and are based on student attendance
- Communication with parents and families on a consistent basis
- Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Onboard and train new employees
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficiency with e-mail and Microsoft Office applications
- Must have verifiable experience teaching school age children in a structured setting
Position Requirements:
- Required: Must meet and maintain state specific licensing requirements and training
- Required: Must complete a background check, fingerprints, CORI, and complete the EEC PQ registry
- Must be at least 20 years old
- Must meet ONE of the following:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or Child Care and 6 months of experience working with school age children.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any filed or an Associate’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or Child Care and have 9 months of experience working with school age children.
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent and have 9 months of experience working with school age children
- Experience to be a Site Coordinator may include the following:
- An EEC licensed school aged program
- An EEC licensed group child care program with documented evidence of having worked in a mixed preschool/school age classroom
- A EEC licensed Family Child Care program with documented evidence of supervised experience by at least a qualified Site Coordinator. Supervised experience must occur every other month for the number of months required for the level of qualification.
- A licensed DPH camp
- A Public school as a paraprofessional or teacher
- An approved private organized educational system
- Experience that is of an instructional nature i.e. couching, karate, dance instruction, or art lessons may count for 50% of the required experience
- Be CPR/First Aid certified
- Additional state licensing training to be completed within 30 days of hire date
