The Clinician position is responsible for providing direct care to individuals participating in our Behavioral Health and Family Services program. This position is part of a team of professionals who work together to provide a comprehensive array of therapeutic services to clients and their families.   • Conduct comprehensive assessment; individual and group therapy, skills training and development; case management; referrals, consultation, coordination and collaboration with community partners and providers.
  • Work with the agencies case management staff to assess case management needs, develop comprehensive treatment plans and facilitating linkage to community resources.
  • Keeps abreast of alternative treatment methods including best practices regarding treatment modalities.
  • Manages crisis effectively providing for the safety of self, the organization and the client.
  • Complete discharge summaries and continuity of care through transfer and referral.
  • Coordinate transition of care within the community.
  • Monitor client engagement on a daily basis, develop and coordinate treatment planning and oversee plan implementation.
  • Provide counseling, attend weekly supervision meetings and advocate for client needs with external agencies.
  • Promote positive outcomes through use of Evidenced-Based best practices.


Required Skills
  • Must possess good organizational skills
  • Demonstrate effective and appropriate verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team model
  • Must demonstrate computer literacy and prefer experience using an electronic health record
  • Maintain licenses and/or certifications as required by IDAPA 16.06.03
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, moving from one task to another quickly and with ease


Required Experience
  • 0-2 years
  • Degreeā€™s Accepted: LMSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT
  • Experience developing treatment plans
  • Experience facilitating groups
  • Preferred experience in trauma-informed, or trauma related interventions and skills
