Mental Health Counselor I Job Opening

Therapist/Counselor: Licensed Mental Health Professionals only.

Caldwell Psychological Services is a very small mental health agency serving the East end of the Treasure Valley. I am a psychologist looking for a counselor to complement the service delivery of the agency. A prospective employee will provide diagnostic assessment and treatment of a variety of common mental health conditions.

My expectation is to provide high quality, individual care to every client. The position includes a fully supportive administrative staff.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate degree in counseling profession
-Professional licensure as one of the following: psychologist, licensed social worker (either LMSW or LCSW), professional counselor (either LPC or LCPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Maintain professional liability insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Duties:
- Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments and addendums
- Develop treatment goals with the client and family as appropriate
- Develop individualized treatment plans with clients within required timeframes
- Assess need and recommend enhanced mental health services as appropriate
- Provide individual and family therapy using evidence based treatment modalities
- Consult, coordinate, and collaborate with members the healthcare community

- Other duties as required

The perfect candidate will have experience working with a wide variety of people and be bilingual (Spanish/English).

Hours: Flexible. The therapist will share an office. Maximum direct contact hours will not exceed 25 hours per week.
