Head Start Teacher Job Opening

Full-time position; 35 hours per week. Permanent position working 9/10 month class schedule.

Starting hourly wage based on education as follows:

• Associate Degree in ECE or related field w/ 12 ECE credit hours - $14.21
• Bachelor Degree in ECE or related field w/ 12 ECE credit hours - $14.91
• Master Degree in ECE or related field w/ 12 ECE credit hours - $16.14

Basic Function: To educate and involve families in the child’s educational process. To provide children with the varied experiences that will help them develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development toward the overall goal of social competence in the classroom. To serve as a support system for families to help in setting goals and seeking out resources for those goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required.
• Min. Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
• Must be willing to further education through workshops and trainings as deemed necessary.
