Nanny (Full-time) Job Opening

Responsible for providing an all inclusive household service to families including childcare, household organization and errands, event assistance, personal assisting and travel assistance. Our employees have flexibility in scheduling to benefit students and employees with second jobs, a team they work with in each home to provide support and scheduling coverage, and accessibility for internship approved hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all child related tasks including but not limited to bathing, feeding, driving, activity organization and managing, homework assistance
• Manage general well-being and behavior
• Provide organizational assistance (household daily chores and home organization)

Routine Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide errand assistance
• Drive for families
• Responsible for walking, feeding, playtime, and bathing pets
• Provide housesitting responsibilities (mail pick up, general house check ins, vendor liaison)
• Provide event assistance (setting up and cleaning up, food service, activity assistance)
• Provide shopping assistance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able and willing to drive their personal car
• Able and willing to use their personal cell phone for communication and be technology friendly
• Able to read, speak, and understand English fluently
• Excellent communication and phone skills
• Computer skills, including internet
• Know how to operate household appliances such as dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, vacuum, camera.
• Able to provide homework assistance at the grade school and middle school level
• Willingness to complete household chores such as dishes, laundry, and light cooking
• Knowledge of car seat and booster seat installation
• Willingness to run errands, provide pet care and event assistance
• Able to lift and carry children and household items including but not limited to laundry, groceries, and/or small moving boxes.
• Comfortable in water and at the beach, and ability to safely swim with minors
• Willingness to travel overnight and by air
• Willing and capable to administer first aid, medications, epi-pens, and be exposed to bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, urine, feces, and take children to medical, dental, or vision appointments.
• Comfortable around pets
• Comfortable with activities that may cause motion-sickness

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 to $16.00 /hour

Experience:

• childcare: 3 years (Preferred)
• Nanny: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CPR/First Aid (Preferred)
