Substance Abuse Counselor- Ray House Job Opening

The Farnum Center is a comprehensive alcohol and other drug treatment facility offering an array of services including the State’s only stand-alone medical detox unit and Inpatient Services. The person in this position will provide individual and group counseling, supportive services, treatment planning and implementation and case management to clients in our outpatient program. Responsibilities will include participating in treatment team meetings and program evaluation, promoting and participating in therapeutic community activities, conducting assessments of referred clients and assisting with the development of transition planning for new clients entering the program.

This is a full-time (40 hours a week) at the Ray House, located in Franklin, NH.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and prior behavioral health experience. A Master’s Degree and/or licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) preferred. A driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurance are also required.
