SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
POSITION: Special Education Teacher - West Fargo Public Schools
TERM: 188 day contract beginning with the 2019-2020 school year
SUMMARY: Provides support to students to help them succeed academically, socially and emotionally. Will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to help create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or appropriate content area
- ND Teaching License with qualifications in one or more areas of special education
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Experience managing complex student behaviors preferred
- Prior experience working in a special education classroom preferred
- Master's Degree in Special Education preferred
SALARY: 2019-2020 Teacher's Salary Schedule
The WFPS District funds the entire 11.75% employee contribution to TFFR, as well as the 12.75% employer contribution.
