• Maple Grove, MinnesotaNorthstar Regional is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to serve in our Maple Grove office, working in both the Co-Occurring Disorders treatment program and seeing individual clients. Candidate must be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and also must hold a mental health counseling licensure (LPCC) in order to be considered for the position.
Duties including, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage a caseload of adults with co-occurring disorders, which includes meeting with each patient weekly
- Complete initial interviews and orientations, assessments including Rule 25’s, treatment planning and interventions, aftercare planning and referrals, contact with collateral resources that may include probation, and family sessions for patients
- Facilitate group counseling
- Maintain records in a timely manner
- Participate in weekly group supervision
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Provide coverage for other therapists as needed
- Aid in training interns as directed
- Maintain licensure, which includes participating in required continuing education
QUALIFICATIONS:
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent written, communication, customer service, and case management skills; skilled consultant and facilitator; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong facilitation, negotiation, investigation and mediation skills; proficiency in MS Office/High degree of computer literacy. Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience and working knowledge in the field of Chemical Dependency. Experience using an electronic health records (EHR) system. Minimum of 3 years experience treating clients with substance use disorder and knowledge of 245G
LICENSURE: Dual licensure as an LADC and as an LPCC.
OTHER: Must be able to pass Minnesota DHS background study, be free of harmful involvement with mind-altering chemicals, and attest to two (2) years of freedom from chemical use problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
