The College seeks an Exercise (Health) Instructor with a record of effective teaching, creative pedagogy, and
scholarly activity. The College currently offers an Exercise Science major, and is looking to pair this major with an
emphasis on Health and Kinesiology. As an instructor, this individual is responsible for facilitating undergraduate
courses, offering academic and career counseling, and providing oversight for practicums and internships. Typical
load includes 24 hours of instruction (Fall 12 & Spring 12), committee assignments, advising, oversight of the
Wellness Center, and other administrative duties.
Because of the mission and missional perspective of CCCK, this position’s salary is in the range of $35,000,
negotiable based on experience and credentials. A generous complement of benefits is offered, including health

The position requires acceptance and affirmation of the College’s evangelical statement of faith, and including a
lifestyle commitment. Additional requirements include:
- A minimum of a Masters in Exercise Science or related field
- Experience in teaching at the collegiate level
- Proficiency in several areas such as Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology.
- Solid interpersonal skills with a variety of constituencies
- A demonstrated vital faith
