Coordinates projects, programs, and activities and provides services and/or advisement (one or more of
the essential functions listed below) for potential and/or current students from the Clinical Affairs and Outreach (CAO) department of the Harrison School of Pharmacy (HSOP).

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotation scheduling (approx. 1200 per year) to include preceptor availability, student region placement and rotation preferences, schedule development, rotation changes throughout the year, rotation requests from sites.
- Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) rotation scheduling (approx. 300 per year) to include preceptor availability, student rotation preferences, schedule development, rotation changes throughout spring and summer
- Clinical IPPE schedule to include preceptor availability, student rotation preferences, schedule development, rotation changes throughout the year (approx. 150 rotations)
- Meet with students regarding scheduling issues and questions about rotations
- Set up matches in PharmAcademic at the beginning of fall and spring semesters
- Verify student mentors for evaluations
- Manage data entered in PharmAcademic: matches, evaluations, assignments, entry of new preceptor and sites, training of new preceptors, trouble shoot issues.
- Triage communication from preceptors and students
- Annual grade report for APPEs.
- Assist with submission of IPPE and APPE grades, reviews rosters to ensure accurate enrollment, works with preceptors regarding student evaluations and students regarding preceptor evaluations
- Serve as the main line of communication with students regarding IPPE and APPE requirements.
- Coordinates Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) intern license documentation and applications for P1 students.
- Coordinate projects, programs and activities and provide services and/or advisement for the Director of Experiential Programs and Co-Curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Director Experiential Programs and Co-Curriculum, Executive Director of Experiential Programs and the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs and Outreach to maintain and improve all experiential education quality.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a system for CAO to monitor all vendor contracts, affiliation agreements (student and faculty), business associate agreements, research and outreach contracts, research grants, and other legal documents to track the type of document and expiration date of the current document (and alert CAO leadership when these need to be renewed).
- Serve as the point of contact for CAO with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Director with student scheduling for interprofessional education events
- Enter data into various databases; manipulate data; run reports; and present data in various formats as requested.
- Assist with the development of interim and annual reports as assigned.
- Prepare reports, newsletters, communique', or presentations as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Counseling, Education,
Business, Communications or related field. Employer will consider advance degrees in lieu of experience.
At least two years' experience in advising and/or coordinating
student services or experience related to the specific academic area.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
