Position Summary
The Clinical Nutrition Care Supervisor is responsible for evaluation and overseeing the delivery of effective nutrition care based on the current recognized nutrition practices from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Directs menu development and nutritional analysis system-wide for feeding systems. Supervises staff to improve patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Bachelors degree in dietetics and registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • A minimum of 5 years administrative experience is required, preferable in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Experience as an educator including curriculum and program evaluation.
  • Strong written or verbal communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills essential to establish and maintain good working relationships with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a well-developed set of criteria and procedures.
• Preferred
  • Experience in public policy development and implementation
  • Masters degree, dietetics
