Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, schedules and delivers proprietary system software training to ensure proper system utilization for all customer service employees. Adapting training delivery methods based on internal needs and outcomes. Monitors progress and engagement, recommends solutions to identified deficits.
  • Creates and delivers flash (OnDemand) training sessions. Maintains internal/external training material, updating to reflect release enhancements as needed; this includes, but is not limited to documentation in the form of training guides, online video tutorials, and job aids.
  • Conducts internal customer training and re-training as needed for customer service needs. Documents training sessions, tracks individual participation, provides additional training materials and feedback.
  • Manages projects, SOPs, workflows for internal functions in addition to implementing all training including but not limited to the following: e-learning modules, training manuals, live webinars, process flows, OnDemand, and on-site training.
  • Works closely with Customer Service Leadership team to ensure documentation and training sessions accurately reflect the needs of the customer service team.
  • Assists leadership in developing, interpreting and implementing new polices and standard operating procedures as requested or appropriate.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Education, Licensure or Certification:

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Training certification preferred

Work Experience or Related Experience:

  • A minimum of two years’ work experience coordinating and facilitating training
  • Knowledge of adult learning techniques, training, process flow mapping and project management as normally obtained through work experience.
  • Operational experience in a hospice environment or customer service is preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical fields in which incumbents have gained a thorough understanding of durable medical equipment is preferred

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to perform the functions as described
  • Must have excellent organizational, project management and planning, end to end process mapping and follow up skills
  • Work related experience in training and facilitation in an adult learning, corporate environment - preferred
  • Working knowledge of a PC, business and communications software (MS Office) and web-based tools are required
  • Must have the ability to be proactive and self-directed utilizing good time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to create and implement flash training and other communication to Customer Service proactively and urgently
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow standard operating procedures regarding patient data to ensure compliance with HIPAA is required
