In This Role, You Will…

  • Provide project, operational and software management support for the communications team. Duties include serving as the point person for project management software and the digital asset management system, coordinating photography and video requests, and planning and coordinating photo/video shoots.
  • Provide administrative support for team meetings and responding to requests for images, materials and mailing lists.
  • Maintain important information and data in unit software. This position will regularly run reports, make updates and develop dashboards to track progress.
  • Effectively utilize your organizational and problem-solving skills to support the communications team.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
Required Education and Experience

To Be Successful, You Will Need…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3-years of related work experience required. Education may be substituted for degree or years of work experience.
  • Strong technical skills, proficiency using the Microsoft Suite of applications. Ability to learn in-house computer systems, especially Workfront and Portfolio systems.
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy, communication skills (both written and verbal); editorial skills; professional judgment, organizational planning, diplomacy, and professionalism. Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
  • Strong team orientation, high level of professionalism, a dedicated work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Creativity, patience, a sense of humor and a belief in our organizational mission of Aligning donor passion and generosity to advance Iowa State University’s land grant ideals.
