Overview

i3 is seeking a UH-60 Instructor Pilot in Huntsville, AL. This will be a temporary-on-call status.

Responsibilities

  • Develops programs of instruction and flight training guides.
  • Develops policies and procedures for flight training, flight operations, standardization, and safety.
  • Reviews methods, procedures, and test programs to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Conducts maintenance check flights.
  • Plans and conducts flight operations and safety surveys and inspections to ensure conformance with federal aviation, safety and environmental compliance regulations, and laws; identifies hazardous operational conditions; recommends corrective actions; increases safety and environmental compliance effectiveness.
  • Trains and evaluates student pilots using clear communication methods.
  • Position will include a deployment to Vienna, Austria to last approximately 8 weeks.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • UH-60A/L and/or UH-60M Instructor Pilot qualification.
  • 300 hours as UH-60A/L/M Instructor Pilot.
  • FAA Class II Medical Certification Required.
Desired qualifications:
  • UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot qualified.
  • Experience with Garmin navigation and glass cockpit systems.
