The University is located in Warrensburg, MO, approximately 35 miles southeast of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The School of Computer Science and Mathematics offers BS and MS degrees in Mathematics.

The School of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Central Missouri is accepting applications for a non tenure-track position in Mathematics at the rank of Instructor. The appointment will begin August 2019.

Applicants should be able to teach a wide variety of developmental and gateway mathematics courses and undergraduate courses in mathematics education; redesign and improve developmental and gateway math courses; and assist with school and university committee work and service activities. The typical teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester. Contract is renewable, contingent upon performance and budget.

A master’s degree or higher in mathematics, or a master’s degree in a different discipline and at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics.

Computer Skills Experience

Teaching experience at secondary school is preferred.
