DIRECT CARE ASSOCIATE/LIFE SKILLS TRAINER (Temp)

Temporary Positions: Non-benefitted
Starting Salary: $18.00 per hour for external applicants, $16.66 per hour for LSTC internal applicants
Work Shift: ROTATING SHIFTS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM/1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, every other weekend, NIGHTS: 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM, two weekends on and one off. Hours may vary to meet department needs.
Summary of Work
Provide direct support services for people residing at the Life Skills & Transition Center in Grafton. Support individuals in obtaining their personal goals. Assist individuals, provide basic physical care services, and aid in the development of skills to support people in their work, recreation, leisure and community activities. Also assist in developing and carrying out individual training activities. May serve as a primary trainer for assigned individuals.
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
