We are currently seeking an OR Specialist II to join our team!

Priority will be training and covering the Robotics service, but will also cross train to their role in other service lines within The Surgery Center and Main OR and will also take call with The Surgery Center.

Job Description:

Demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts. Demonstrates the application of the principles of asepsis. Demonstrates basic surgical case preparation skills. Demonstrates the ability to perform the role of first scrub on all basic surgical cases. Demonstrates responsible behavior as a health care professional.

Qualifications:

Minimum/Required

Completion of Surgical Technologist Program, completion of a Nursing Program or on-the-job training with at least 5 years experience as a Surgical Technologist.

High School diploma or GED

Preferred/Desired

5 years experience as a Surgical Technologist

Certification in Surgical Technology
