Extended Day Counselor Job Opening

The Extended Day Program (EDP) at Highlands serves the needs of our families for after school care and extracurricular activities. All students have the opportunity to stay in the same caring, constructive environment they enjoy during the regular school day. A typical day’s schedule may include outside play time, snack time, supervised homework time, and free time. EDP also offers an exciting variety of activities for enrollment, which may include karate, chess, art, tennis, and private music lessons, like piano and guitar. We seek after school counselors with a strong background in early childhood education and child development with commensurate experience. The successful candidate must be a team player and positive thinker, exhibit a model work ethic and can-do attitude, be loving and nurturing, and possess strong communication skills. This is a part-time, school year round position. We are currently interviewing for the 2019-2020 school year.

Salary: $9.50 to $10.00 /hour
