The Joint Replacement Program Coordinator acts as a consultant, facilitator, protocol developer and educator to the staff and to the orthopedic joint replacement population. Assists the nurse manager with development of the Joint Replacement Program of Excellence, Joint Commission certified. Duties will include developing patient education tools, joint replacement care protocols, and core measures and data management relevant to certification process plus coordinating with all aspects of joint replacement care for patients with physicians and others in a multidisciplinary approach. The coordinator must be able to work in a self-directed environment, with an ability to collaborate with other members of the team. Requires problem solving, decision making, writing skills and critical thinking.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Licensure: Current AR Registered Nurse
  • Experience: 3 years of professional nursing experience in Orthopaedics with demonstration of competent clinical judgment and leadership ability
