Job Summary:
The Department of Agriculture and Life Sciences in the College of Engineering, Science, Technology and Agriculture at Central State University in Wilberforce, OH invites applicants to apply for a one-year term, 9-month, split appointment between Instructor and Lab Technician (Land Grant). The position begins August 15, 2019.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- The teaching assignment may consist of a combination of lecture and laboratory courses related to biology in the Department of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
- The successful candidate is expected to participate in department, college and university committees.
- The successful candidate will spend approximately 15% of time working with a Land Grant research faculty doing general lab work and sampling related to agriculture and life sciences.
- An earned terminal M.S. degree in biological science or related discipline is required.
- Candidates with laboratory management or post-secondary teaching experience in biology preferred.
- Commitment to and enthusiasm for working as a member of a team committed to excellence in biology, instruction, and proficiency in the use of computer technology to enhance undergraduate instruction.
