Preschool (PreK) Assistant Teacher Job Opening

Shepherd's Care is a Christian Childcare Center located in Maple Grove, This position requires you to assist the teachers in providing a warm and nurturing environment for children to meet their physical, mental, spiritual, social and emotional needs. Responsible for performing duties in accordance with policies and procedures. Works under direct supervision of the Teacher. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to all children, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.

JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Qualifies as an assistant teacher under MN Department of Health and Human Services
• Understands and enjoys children.
• Must be able to deal with people under all conditions.
• Must be available to work varied hours and on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to perform physical job demands of position.
• Must abide by the Shepherd’s Care Code of Ethics.
