IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Training Devices Specialist in the Huntsville, AL area supporting the Utility Helicopters Project Office (UHPO). Candidates should be highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to handle multiple tasks. Candidates must already possess an active Secret level security clearance.
Education and General Experience:
An undergraduate degree in a technical field from an accredited institution or an equivalent amount of specific experience is preferred, with at least fifteen (15) years of general experience. Candidate should also have the following:

- Knowledge of Black Hawk helicopters and their systems, subsystems and components
- Cognizance of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents; and of the major issues, program goals and objectives, and work processes of the organizations supported, as well as relationships with other programs within DA
- Technical Program Management, hardware and software integration, root cause analysis, risk management and system engineering experience
- Ability to manage complex development and engineering projects, work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Application of the principles, practices, and theories of engineering fundamentals to include but not be limited to system engineering, reliability, maintainability, diagnostics principles, hardware and software integration
- Manage pilot training devices.
- Manage re-accreditation of existing training devices.
- Coordinate the fielding and training for new training devices.
- Coordinate concurrency updates of Programs of Instruction (POIs) w/USAACE.
- Assist with acquisition strategy of virtual training throughout the aviation community.
- Attend government stakeholder discussions and industry related conferences to gain valuable knowledge and insight as to current and future technology/capabilities that our initiatives can bring to bear in support of our customers’ mission.
- Assist in the training coordination for Flight Training Devices (FTDs).
- Research, participate and derive technical solutions from both commercial and joint entities to facilitate our acquisition strategy objectives.
