Expert Electro-Mechanical Industrial Equipment Maintenance - Technical Trainer

Minimum of 5 years in Electro/Mechanical industrial equipment maintenance

This might be a great fit for you! The right candidate will spend 3-6 months learning EST Equipment and Systems and then begin actively training new service technicians in the field as well as developing training modules specific to EST Companies equipment. Your main focus will be in the SE Region, however you may be called on to travel nationally to train new technicians around the country.

We're looking for a motivated, high energy, team player, an expert in Electro/Mechanical equipment maintenance to become our in-house trainer for our fast growing company!! – specifically supporting our Company's Headquarters in Tempe, AZ.

Extensive travel throughout the the U.S. *Must be willing to travel - usually 100% travel.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Obtain proficiency in the installation, start-up, operation, inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service of EST industrial equipment.
• On-site/hands-on training of new, less experienced service technicians
• Development of training modules specific to EST Companies equipment
• This position requires extensive travel, a solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and experience in troubleshooting such systems.
• Represents and promotes the company; its products and services, as well as pro-actively seeks and pursues new prospects/projects, with existing and prospective customers, in order to increase profitable sales.
• Keeps the voice of the customer at the forefront at all time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school, 2-year associate degree/four years bachelor preferred.
• 5 years minimum of experience in field or related area. Ten years preferred.
• Strong Knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems.
• Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC's with ability to understand & read ladder logic preferred.
• Able to understand mechanical, electrical, and electronic/computer hardware functionality and use knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train less experienced technicians
• Ability to develop and implement training modules specific for EST Companies equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Word and Excel
• Strong customer orientation. - Dependable and hands-on. Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, well organized and detail oriented. Hardworking, honest and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to travel extensively - Driver’s license and excellent driving record required.
• Ability to pass stringent background screening and obtain military base clearances.

The work is considered medium-to-heavy in nature and involves walking, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, digging, pushing or raising objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis”
