Smartronix, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Support Specialist to assist project analysts and program managers in support of government contracts. Project/administrative support will include, but not be limited to coordination and maintaining workflow; documentation support, tasking, data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project leads and project analysts to perform administrative/project tasking
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and action items, distribute/post minutes and after actions, and track action items to completion
  • May act as program coordinator following up on pending details and coordinating program meeting
  • Assist with data entry, tracking and upload of project documentation to share drives and Sharepoint
  • Collect and review data from various databases
  • Creates, maintains, and updates program databases and spreadsheets, and generates various reports
  • Prepare travel and material estimates
  • Prepares reports and presentation material.
  • Maintains appropriate records and documentation
  • Assist with overall project documentation packages
  • Utilize templates, processes, and work flows to complete tasking
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Perform other administrative duties as required


Required Skills
  • Ability to provide customer service to the team
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications and data entry
  • Capacity to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to change
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of travel (CONUS and OCONUS) and purchasing policies for government contracts
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions and perform duties with supervision


Required Experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with MS Excel and Word skills
  • Experience working in office environment preferred (2-3 years)
  • Experience with travel planning and estimating
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; additional college courses or vocational training desired
