Early Childhood Teacher Job Opening

*Understanding and support of Little Miracles vision and mission statement that focuses on nurturing, education and inclusion of all children, including children with special needs.

*Work within an early childhood classroom providing for the basic daily needs of a group of children as well as ensuring age and developmentally appropriate implementation of educational activities.

* Complete lesson planning/preparation for designated group of children using center approved curriculum theories and ND Early Learning Guidelines weekly.

* Understanding and implementation of individual behavior plans as outlined by professional staff and consultants.

* Understanding and acceptance of the unique needs of children within your care who have medical or developmental challenges and inclusion in all classroom activities, modifying classroom activities as needed.

* Team-minded attitude and willingness to participate in mutual respect and encouragement of other teammates, both in words and actions.

* Classroom management and organization of materials within the classroom and center.

* Daily classroom cleaning and sanitizing of materials.

* Shared center cleaning duties.

* Understanding of and adherence to state licensing regulations related to health and safety, supervision, food and nutrition, discipline, outdoor activity, etc.

* Completion of state required continuing education upon hire and annually.

* Other duties as assigned.
