CLINICAL THERAPIST- HEALTHY AGING TEAM – PART TIME CONTRACTUAL Job Opening

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Community Outreach and Manager of Coordinated Family Support Services, performs office, and community based therapeutic services for seniors; services include individual, group, family, interactive therapy, evidence based therapies and practices, case management, and the coordination of multiple services and supports, performs related work as required. This is a contract, grant funded, temporary position. Schedule is subject to change; Applicants must be able to work Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Minimum Requirements

Masters in Social Work and Michigan Master Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical. Will consider a candidate with a Limited License as a Masters Level Social Worker (LLMSW) credential AND one (1) year of experience working with seniors in a clinical setting, OR a candidate with a Master’s degree in a human service field (defined as Counseling/Guidance or Psychology), AND one (1) year of experience working with seniors in a clinical setting. OR Masters in Psychology and Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential OR a Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP) credential AND one (1) year of experience working with seniors in a clinical setting. OR Masters in Counseling and Michigan License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential OR a Limited License as a License Professional Counselor (LLPC) credential AND one (1) year of experience working with seniors in a clinical setting. Employee must maintain valid licensure to retain employment.

Preferences

Lived experience with the Flint Water Crisis Residing in the Flint/Greater Flint community

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work after normal business hours, weekends. Must be willing and able to provide services in the home, community and office setting. Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours. Ability to physically perform job related tasks.
