On-Call Childcare Providers- Chattanooga, TN

Pay: $10-$25/hr

Desired Qualifications (Willing to Obtain):

3+ Years of Childcare and Customer Service Experience

- Must Be 18 or Older

-Valid Drivers License
-High School Diploma
-First Aid , CPR Certified

-Background Check

-Employment Drug Screens

Overview: In-Home Childcare Providers (Nannies & Babysitters)

Childcare providers typically work in the homes of families within their area of residence. Providers may often watch infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. Qualities of our most amazing providers include being able to;

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care
• Prepare light meals and organize mealtimes/snacks for children
• Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Watch for signs of emotional and/or developmental progress and/or problems in children and bring them to the attention of parents
• Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests

Nannies- Work in the homes of the children they care for. Usually work for one family. They may be responsible for driving children to school or after-school activities. Typically work Monday-Friday and occasional weekends.

Babysitters- Work in the homes of the children in their care. Usually work with multiple families instead of just one. In addition, they generally do not work full time, but rather take care of children on occasional nights and weekends.

Work Schedules

Childcare providers schedules vary widely.

Nannies may work either full or part time. Full-time nannies may work up to 40 hours or more a week.

Babysitters typically work 20-35 hours or less a week.
