Inspired By You, LLC (DDA) is looking to add Behavior Intervention Specialists to our team! We are seeking a quality BI specialist who can:
- Contribute to a team atmosphere (collaborating with other professionals, families, and schools)

Inspired By You is a new(er) agency, allowing the opportunity for BI Specialists hired to help the agency grow, expand, and be a part of a team atmosphere! We offer:
- Starting BI specialists at $21.00/hr with opportunities for raises DOE, certifications, and work performance
- Compensates staff for drive time, trainings, and maintaining client files
- Provides $150/month stipend towards health insurance for employees who work 30 hours or more
- Offers paid time off
- Provides supervision hours for those individuals seeking RBT certification
Qualifications
- Hold a current Habilitative Intervention Certificate from Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Family Relations/Family and Child Services Counseling (General, MH, Vocational, Pastoral, Rehabilitation) and Guidance Psychology, Nursing, Education/Special Education, Sociology, Child Development/Human Development, Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Marriage and Family Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders, Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy, Behavioral Sciences/ABA AND 1040 supervised hours working with children 0-17 with developmental disabilities) AND Must complete competency coursework approved by the Department to demonstrate competencies related to the requirements to provide Habilitative Intervention (9 semester course credits in ABA, Child Development, and Learning)
- OR currently hold BCaBA
Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities
- Uses positive behavior support techniques and utilization of replacement behaviors that are socially significant to the client.
- Understand and abide by Code of Ethics as set forth in IBY Policies and Procedures. Demonstrates ethics and professional knowledge, knows processes for abuse/neglect reporting, shows cultural sensitivity, demonstrates confidentiality, treats clients & families with dignity.
- Core knowledge of developmental disabilities and evidence based models of learning.
- Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly, and professional communication with family, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Generate objective session notes by describing what occurred during sessions, demonstrates accurate data collection, can collect and appropriately document data, report other variables that might affect the client (e.g., illness, relocation, medication) and how those should be documented within paperwork and data/graphs.
- Recognize components and uses techniques identified in the implementation plan to teach/develop new skills.
- Tailors reinforcement, instruction and intervention strategies to address individual differences, preferences, goals/outcomes, learning styles, and culture.
- Implements plans to ensure maintenance and generalization to support newly-learned behaviors.
