Early Childhood Aftercare Assistant Job Opening

AFTERNOON ASSISTANT TEACHER

Seacoast Waldorf School has openings for an Assistant Aftercare Teacher beginning in late August. Position is from 1pm- 6pm , Monday - Thursday.

Aftercare consists of lunch time, rest time, snack and free play for children ages 2.5-12 years of age. Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with rest, preparing daily snack, cleaning common areas and classrooms so that they are prepared and ready for use the next day. The assistant is a supportive role to the Aftercare Lead Teacher. Applicants who are are energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, patient, motivated, caring, dependable, and engaging are welcome to apply. Previous experience with young children is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: Non-Exempt $14.50 hour

Benefits: Tuition Remission; Paid sick/personal days when working 20+ hours
