What you do…

Guide and teach learners of all ages with provided material and lesson plans, using the proven Berlitz Method.

Promote in-depth understanding along with skill acquisition. Our instructors are considered thinking coaches and facilitators of learning who support students’ deep engagement with course content and support our student-focused method of teaching.

Create a friendly atmosphere for students to learn in and encourage creativity in face to face, group or virtual learning environments.

Meet great people from different cultures and career backgrounds, get inspired in our adult classes or have fun with talented children and teenagers in our kids & teens classes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Part Time Language Instructor, you will deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the interests and needs of your students. You will work with private students as well as group classes at the Learning Center or one of our offsite locations.

Additional responsibilities for the Part Time Language Instructor include:

Keeping student records and profile cards up to date
Participating in your performance evaluation plan
Integrating learning technology into teaching programs
Maintaining center resource materials

As a Part-time Language Instructor for Berlitz, you must have exceptional communication skills in both English and your native language. You must be able to speak the required language at native fluency level. We are seeking interactive and motivated instructors who are comfortable working in a diverse environment on a flexible schedule.

Additional requirements for the Part-time Language Instructors include:

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
• Previous experience
