ROLE SUMMARY

Learning Specialist is accountable for implementation and sustainability of the foundational Training System Elements as well as providing the knowledge and skills to continuously improve site GMP training programs. The Learning Specialist will develop, review and implement programs and procedures to assure conformance with applicable GMP regulations and Pfizer Quality Standards.

The position will influence and model the transformation process for building a Learning Organization.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Learning Specialist will be responsible but not limited to:

  • Conducts needs assessments and works with leaders to develop position curricula for core, tasks and general requirements.
  • Tracks, trends and analyzes training data to provide solutions aligned with training system processes and documentation.
  • Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness in line with current regulations, PQS, and business needs.
  • Provides coaching for continuous improvement on training methodologies and processes and supports area trainers in the development and design of training solutions
  • Coordinates projects, teams and training events in collaboration with other training colleagues.
  • Utilizes appropriate training delivery methods including on-the-job, small groups, classroom training, and knowledge-based training.
  • Support and leads site training programs of On-Boarding (NEO), Trainer Qualification Program and general facilitation and project management of site initiatives, as required
  • Provides training support for site and corporative initiatives, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :

Required :

  • BA/BS Degree and a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience related field
  • MS Degree and 1 years applicable experience in related field

Desirable :

  • Train the Trainer (TTT) Certified
  • Adult Learning and ADDIE Methodology knowledge
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing industry
  • PHP Trained
