High School Teacher Job Opening

Job Description for Teaching Positions:

Day-to-Day Operations: Teachers are required to conduct operations in their classroom including but not limited to the following areas:

• Curriculum Instruction
• Ensuring the safety and security of students
• Behavior and Classroom Management
• Timely Communication with
• Students and families
• CBS Administration and other faculty
• Outside individuals with a direct interest in the students’ progress
• Assessment of skills and progress on a regular basis
• Lesson Plans (given to Principal on a regular basis)
• Curriculum guide preparation per unit (given to Principal)
• Planning and management of field trips
• Miscellaneous routines required throughout the day (i.e. Attendance, Lunch orders, grading, etc.)

Spiritual Instruction and Development: Teachers are required to give every student an opportunity to grow in their faith through, but not limited to, implementing the following:

• Daily Bible lessons
• Service projects
• Expectation of Godly attitude and character

Support of the Ministries of Centennial Baptist: Teachers are required to fully support the ministries of Centennial Baptist by holding to, but not limited to, the following protocols:

• Timely communication with the Administration in needed areas
• Promptness in all duties
• Daily personal growth through prayer, devotions, Bible study and regular church attendance
• Supportive communication with parents and the community.
• Participation in school activities and functions
• Participation and implementation in school wide fundraisers

Additional Requirements:

• Participation in weekly meetings, devotions and quarterly staff meetings.
• Develop and adhere to professional development plan annually.
• Obtain certification through ACTS (additional certifications when available).
• Participation in parent-teacher conferences.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,700.00 to $2,000.00 /month

Experience:
