Under the direction of the ACTP Supervisor; performs responsible tasks in providing comprehensive, intensive, off-site clinical services to Genesee Health System clients assigned to the ACT Program; responsible for significant liaison and consultation work with ancillary agencies, courts, hospitals, the police, and families, as well as direct intervention to clients assigned to the program. Will not be assigned individual clients as clients will be assigned to the team as a whole, thus, a good deal of sharing of information, feedback, and teamwork is required; this is a 7-day-a-week, 24-hour coverage program and as such, persons will be required to have “on-call” time where they may have to perform emergency interventions in person or otherwise, at odd hours; most client contacts will be off-site, either in clients’ home or mutually agreed upon sites; persons must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision; persons will need to facilitate the exchange of information between various programs, hospitals, and interested parties. Performs related work as required.

Minimum Requirements
Masters in Social Work and Michigan Master Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical. Will consider a candidate with a Limited License as a Masters Level Social Worker (LLMSW) credential OR a candidate with a Master’s degree in a human service field (defined as Counseling/Guidance or Psychology), who also must possess a Master Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential. The employee with an LLMSW must take and pass the ASWB Examination within three (3) years of hire to retain employment. The employee with an LLMSW must also make application for the LMSW upon completion of 4000 hours in order to retain employment. OR Masters in Psychology and Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential. Will consider a candidate with a Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP) credential. The employee with a TLLP must make application for the LLP upon completion of 2000 hours in order to retain employment. All master level psychologists must take and pass the Examination for Professional Practice within three (3) years of hire to retain employment. OR Masters in Counseling and Michigan License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential OR a Limited License as a License Professional Counselor (LLPC) credential AND one (1) year of experience working with adults with severe mental illness. The employee with an LLPC must take and pass the National Counselor Examination (NCE) within three (3) years of hire to retain employment. The employee with an LLPC must also make application for the LPC upon completion of 3000 hours to retain employment. OR Master’s in Nursing and licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan. OR Bachelors in Social Work and Michigan Bachelor Level Social Worker (LBSW) credential. Will consider a candidate with a Limited License as a Bachelor Level Social Worker (LLBSW) credential AND one (1) year clinical experience with adults with severe mental illness, OR a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field (defined as Counseling/Guidance or Psychology), who also must possess a Bachelor Level Social Worker (LBSW) credential AND one (1) year clinical experience with adults with severe mental illness. The employee with an LLBSW must take and pass the ASWB Examination within three (3) years of hire to retain employment. The employee with an LLBSW must also make application for the LBSW upon completion of 4000 hours in order to retain employment. OR Bachelors in Nursing and licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan, AND one (1) year clinical experience with adults with severe mental illness. OR Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, and licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan, AND two (2) years clinical experience with adults with severe mental illness. All the above employees must maintain valid licensure to retain employment.

Preferences
Experience implementing IDDT (Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment) for persons with Co-Occurring Disorders (COD).

Additional Requirements
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours.
