• Auburn, AlabamaThe Office of the Provost at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for non-tenure track full-time lecturer positions starting August 2019. This is a one-year (twelve-month), renewable appointment. Responsibilities will include teaching the University Student Success Course (UNIV 1000), maintaining office hours, providing support for University retention initiatives and working with other members of the Office of the Provost in supporting learning communities and service learning initiatives.
The teaching load is four courses per Spring and Fall semester. The course load in Summer will be reduced.
Successful candidates must have earned at least a Master’s degree. Teaching experience is preferred. The preferred candidates will also enjoy teaching college students in subject areas that provide them the opportunities to successfully transition into college, both academically and personally.
