Certified Personal Trainer Job Opening

Part-time

We are looking for Certified Personal Trainer's for part-time hours.

Base hourly wage begins at $12 per hour, with higher pay for conducting training sessions and a % of training package sales.

Job Summary

Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercise for a wide variety of participants. In addition, he/she must be comfortable and confident with fitness program design, program instruction, and influencing behavior change.

We are a coaching facility and want to help make healthy happen for everyone.

Responsibilities and Duties

Will provide Fitness Consultations, Traditional (1-on-1) Training, Small Group Training, and additional programming opportunities as deemed appropriate. Beyond the traditional roles described, the personal trainer provides guidance, education, and encouragement and most importantly, develops relationships with all members to improve retention.

We expect our personal trainers to possess above average customer service skills and be on a mission to provide a “surprisingly personable experience” with everyone he/she meets.

Trainers are also responsible to help with the general cleanliness of the club, membership sales, and sales of training programs.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics / qualifications:

REQUIRED :

Highly engaging, energetic personality with a passion for helping others achieve their goals!

Ability to reach members through authentic personal interaction.

Ability to design and execute a successful personal training program.

Desire and ability to market yourself.

High integrity individual with a professional attitude.

Nationally accredited personal training certification (ex, NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA)

CPR/First Aid certification

DESIRED :

Customer service mindset

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Sales experience

Knowledge of proper nutrition (nutrition certification is a plus)

Desire to continually learn
