Job Description: Legal Locator Service is a pre-employment background screening and investigative research services company. We specialize in pre-employment background checks. The company was established in 1996. Our business is centered on providing excellent customer service.

This position would provide an opportunity for a candidate with a positive attitude and desire to work for a growing, stable, successful company in the field of background screening. This position includes successfully fulfilling clients’ requests for background checks, responding to clients’ inquiries, and facilitating problem resolution to the satisfaction of each client. Do NOT apply if you do not have experience processing background checks. This is a professional office setting.

Primary responsibilities: include researching, compiling and processing orders for employment background checks, making professional sales calls, and other office duties while consistently and successfully exhibiting independent judgment, as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision and to achieve productivity standards, effective problem solving, and excellent phone skills that this position requires.

Minimum Requirements: * Education - High school diploma required; * Experience - One to two years of customer service, required and two to three years of computer experience required; * Must have previous background screening experience * Skills and Abilities/Competencies –

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,proficiency on keyboard
• Detail orientation required,
• Technical proficiency and ability to learn and operate a variety of software applications,
• Accurate data entry skills,
• Exceptional written and verbal skills,
• Creative problem solving,
• Independent decision making,
• Familiarity with public or court records,
• Ability to follow procedure to complete criminal history, background investigations, employment screening, etc.;
• Familiarity with OIG, tenant background searches, identity verification, driving record check, license verification, credit report checks.
