ROLE SUMMARY

Assisting in the development and implementation of visual inspection training, including defect recognition and qualification testing. Responsible for gathering and classifying defects across all product families. Assist in establishing defect test sets including creating a system to evaluate and maintain defective units. Provide training to personnel performing visual inspection as qualification programs are implemented.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide training to personnel performing visual inspection.
  • Inspect and evaluate units for inclusion in defect test sets.
  • Perform light intensities for all visual inspection equipment daily.
  • Perform assessments on line.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must meet the qualifications of a Certified Trainer. Must be able to present training material in an effective manner.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills for working with trainees and within a team.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent with competence in oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and decision-making skills.
  • Must have the ability to follow detailed written procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Requires assertive and tactful communication skills.
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance is required. Knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, and Access).
  • Requires a high level of organizational skills, high degree of accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, and good attendance.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have 20/20 correctable vision. Required to do occasional lifting in excess of 25 pounds.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Voluntary overtime as requested as well as occasional mandatory overtime.
