The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute has an opening for a part to full-time staff clinician in our
Brookline, MA office. We are looking for a committed professional in the field who is interested in joining a
stimulating and supportive community dedicated to serving children, adults and families impacted by trauma & life
adversity, and receiving extensive training opportunities to expand their expertise.
This is a 26 hour per week salaried positon on our VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) grant with the option to add
additional clinical or administrative hours to make this a full time positon. The clinician will serve crime victims of
all ages through a range of modalities including individual, group and family therapy as well as caregiver
consultations and parent psychoeducational groups. This position also includes collaboration and outreach with
other victim services agencies such as the Children’s Advocacy Center, Department of Children and Families, and
domestic violence and child abuse programs. This position allows for creativity and flexibility with the unique
opportunity for a new clinician to be involved in programmatic planning.
Eligible candidates must:
Have at least 4 years of post-graduate experience working with trauma impacted families and children, including
direct work with caregivers.
Be a MA-licensed LICSW, LMHC, Ph.D. or Psy.D.
Training and experience using one or more of the following trauma interventions is highly desirable: Attachment
Regulation and Competency (ARC), SMART, PCIT, EMDR, and other Attachment Focused Treatments.
