Purpose of Position
This posting will be used to conduct ongoing recruitment and will remain opened until the position has been filled.
Why does the job exist?
Assist in all Human Resources transactions to include compensation, recruitment, and per-employment verifications.
How does it get done?
Process new hires, promotions, transfers, salary increases, information changes, and others as needed in SHARE.
Who are the customers?
NMBHI staff including management/HR current/Former and potential employees as well as other State Agency personnel.
Ideal Candidate
Will have:
Experience in Human Resource operations;
Experience in SHARE;
Experience in customer service.
Minimum Qualification
Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, investigation, HR related training experience and/or occupational analysis. Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Working Conditions
This position will perform work in an office setting with exposure to Visual/ Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive computer and phone usage. May be required to work weekends, holiday, overtime, shift work and call back hours as needed. Effective 1/01/2015, the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute became tobacco products or E-Cigarette products are permitted on any part of the campus. Work department is Human Resources. Shift is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
