CLIN EDUCATOR/ASS’T NURSE MGR Job Opening

This role blends management and educator responsibilities in order to provide
supervisory oversight and to assure that staff are prepared to function in the
perioperative setting. The position includes, but is not limited to, the
initial teaching and onboarding of new and experienced RN’s and technical
staff, as well as ongoing education and measurement of defined competencies.
The position works in concert with the nurse manager and anesthesia coordinator
to control flow through the OR.

Position Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

License/Certifications:
Current registration as a licensed professional nurse in New York State.
CNOR preferred.
Bachelors’ degree required; master’s preferred.

Experience:
Demonstrated 3 years progressive leadership ability.
Clinical knowledge / expertise in OR nursing.
Expert master precepting skills.
Strong communication skills.
