Residential Counselor II

Our dedicated direct care staff provides day and residential supports to individuals, placing a high priority on dignity, respect, and the right to make choices and determine one's future.

In this essential role, direct care staff will assist individuals in developing skills such as self-care, communication, socialization, relationship building, problem solving and medication management. Direct care staff also support individuals in community and recreational activities with friends, family and Crotched Mountain staff members.

We currently have openings for Residential Counselor II for 2nd shift. The Residential Counselor II performs tasks under supervision of Program Manager and Lead Residential Counselor (RC III) in accordance with established Center policies/procedures.

SCHEDULE:

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/Associates preferred with 12 credits human service field, or 2 years full time work/volunteer experience with children or 7 years parenting experience. Excellent writing/verbal skills, ability to lift 50lbs and walk 50% of shift are required. Extensive comprehensive training provided.
