Northwestern State University College of Nursing and School of Allied Health seeks an applicant for a 9-month full-time faculty position for the Associate/Bachelor of Science degree programs in nursing available in Shreveport, Louisiana beginning August 12, 2019.
Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Review of applications will begin immediately. Position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications
A Masters in Nursing required, however, a Doctorate is preferred (required for academic rank of Associate Professor); Eligible for membership on undergraduate and graduate faculty. Unencumbered licensure status as an RN or APRN in the state of Louisiana; or eligible for Louisiana licensure. At least three (3) years of clinical nursing experience. At least three (3) years of nurse educator experience; five (S) or more preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and shall meet the required standards defined by the University.
