Instructor of English - Alabama A&M University Job Opening

The Instructor of English is a full-time, nine-month teaching position teaching in the Department of English and Foreign Languages within the College of Education, Humanities and Behavioral Sciences. The person will teach a 4/4 load in composition and world literature. Experience in film criticism and/or drama/theater is highly desired.

Master's degree with 18 or more graduate semester hours in English or a closely related field from an accredited institution; coursework in film criticism and/or drama/theatre a plus
A minimum of one year experience teaching writing and/or literature at the college level
Experience using online platforms, such as Blackboard, D2L, or Web-CT
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

SALARY: Negotiable
